Pakistan's 33-point victory over South Africa via the DLS method in Sydney on Thursday kept Babar Azam's men alive in the tournament. Their net run rate has also been significantly increased - +1,117 - and they are currently in third place in the points standings.
Group 2 has opened wide, with India, Bangladesh and South Africa not yet guaranteed a spot in the knockout stage.
Here's what these four teams have to do to progress.
What should India do?
India has not yet qualified for the semifinals. He has six points and a good net score ahead of his last league game against Zimbabwe at the MCG on Sunday. If India beats Zimbabwe, or if the game is canceled, they will be in the semifinals, because neither Pakistan nor Bangladesh can reach seven points. However, if India loses the last game and Pakistan wins against Bangladesh and South Africa defeats the Netherlands, South Africa and Pakistan will advance by net score.
And what about Pakistan?
Pakistan's top NRR, which is currently +1,117, means they can overtake India if India loses to Zimbabwe. However, if India's match fails or wins, Rohit Sharma's men will leave Pakistan behind. Pakistan can even overthrow South Africa if South Africa doesn't get more than one point from the match against Holland, as Pakistan will move on to more wins.

Surely Bangladesh also has a chance?
Bangladesh must beat Pakistan in the last game and then hope that South Africa's game against Holland is a failure. Bangladesh will qualify despite a lower NRR as they have more wins - three - than South Africa's two.

And South Africa?
Just beat Holland and they will pass. The defeat to Pakistan ended South Africa's record as the last undefeated team of the tournament.
