With just three days left between the two teams before the World Cup opener, the Australian Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) has offered a demoralizing weather update which could see the MCG competition wiped out due to the threat of rain.
“High chance (80%) of showers, most likely in the evening. South wind at a speed of 15-25 km / h, in the evening it is replaced by the southeast, ”says the BOM website.
