Position Summary:

The sales agent provides excellent customer service by correctly completing fuel and merchandise sales. The Sales Assistant maintains the level of the product in the store so that they are available for sale to our customers. The seller is responsible for the smooth operation and efficiency of the shift as per the company policy so that the shift contributes to the profitability of the store.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provides prime quality client service in any respect times. 
• Follows daily operating procedures to ensure the store is clean, well stocked and tidy.
• Prepares, cleans, cleans and maintains food preparation area to sanitary standards as required.
• Maintains a safe working environment, which includes ensuring that all funds are kept securely in a vault or ledger, notifying store managers of any discrepancy in sales, cash or transactions, and of loss Carry out prevention.
• Properly cleans and maintains equipment and high margin finished products like coffee, soda etc. Checks operation of refrigeration equipment at least once per shift.
• Always keep the floor and bathroom clean. Cleans windows, floors, shelves, counters, car washes (if applicable), parking lots and gas stations while maintaining a specified level of cleanliness.
• Ensures proper sales and accounting of Lotteries, Beer/Wine, UPS and Licensing where applicable and adheres to Company Standards for Customer Cards for all products subject to age limits.
• Other assigned tasks.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Work toward a high school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
2. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
3. Previous Retail Experience and 6 Months Experience in Cash Handling & Customer Service.
4. Positive outgoing nature and excellent customer service skills.
5. Able to work with electronic cash registers and computers and perform simple arithmetic calculations.
6. Oral and written communication skills.
7. Ability to operate in a variety of outdoor environments and cooler shop environments.
