Marriage is a ritual performed by people of all religions in keeping with their traditions and culture. In some of these religions people perform this duty in a very polite manner, in some there is an element of mischief and in some places religious ideologies are considered important. But the most important thing is that in all religions the wedding ceremony is held in a unique and different way. Some different wedding rituals:


Sweden:

According to Swedish culture, the bride and groom cannot leave their place during the wedding ceremony for any reason, and in doing so, the other bridesmaids surround the bride and kiss her while the boys present there kiss the bride.

Germany:

Philippines:

In the Philippines, before marriage, couples personally visit relatives and invite them to their wedding. In addition to this, the bride and groom perform the ritual by throwing white doves in the air in the traditional style on the occasion of their reception.

Java:

The bride and groom sit on the girl's father's lap during a wedding ceremony on the Indonesian island of Java. It is a sign that boy and girl are equal in the eyes of their family.

Korea:

In Korea, close friends of the bridegroom hit him on the groom's 'legs' on the first night of the wedding with a fish and a stick.
According to another Korean tradition, the bridegroom presents his mother-in-law with a "wild goose and duck" as a gift, indicating that he will fulfill all the vows made in connection with the marriage.



Hindu marriage:

Persian:

Parsis outnumber people of other religions. But their marriages also take place in a very traditional way. In Parsi, marriage is called 'Acho Micho'. In addition, the day on which the wedding ceremony is held is called 'Shah Jan'.

Japan:

In Japan, various rituals are performed on the occasion of marriage, one of which is that a boy and a girl drink water from three separate cups at the time of marriage, after which their parents do the same.

Buddhist:

Buddhist weddings are very simple and modest in which no religious duties are fulfilled but only close relatives gather on this occasion and the couple goes to the temple itself to perform all the marriage rituals.

Christian:

Christian weddings are held in the church where the two families perform the wedding duties in the presence of one witness each, and the bride and groom exchange "rings". The bride wears a "white" dress on this occasion.



Scotland:

According to a strange Scottish tradition, on the day of marriage, close relatives and family shower wine, ashes, milk and feathers on the bride and groom so that they may be protected from all evil forces and prosper.
