Invitation of the Prophet (PBUH)

Let us look at the invitation of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him):
In the well-known book of Hadith Sharif, Sunan Bayhaqi, it is said that on his return from Khyber, the Lord of the Universe stayed between Khyber and Madinah for three days and at that place he married Umm Al-Mu'minin Hazrat Safiyya and invited her. You put dates, cheese and ghee on the table. Other Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) also brought similar items and all of them were eaten by the people. According to a narration, on the morning of the marriage, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) announced: Williama was invited. (Sunan Bayhaqi)

Walimah of Prophet (PBUH) with Umme Salma R.A

Umm Al-Mu'minin At the time of her marriage to Hazrat Umm Salma, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) fed her a palm tree and a pillow. It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) fed a large quantity of walima to some of his wives on the occasion of marriage. Sabit Banani Tabi'i (RA) asked Hazrat Anas (RA) what was the amount of betrothal of Hazrat Anwar (PBUH)? Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the amount of meat and bread was so much that people ate it to their heart's content and still there was no food left. (Sunan Bayhaqi)

I have presented these two hadiths only as examples, otherwise there are numerous hadiths of this meaning. It is clear from them that it is Sunnah to arrange the invitation as much as possible, but it is not permissible to take a loan and hold a long invitation. Even with a short invitation, the Sunnah of William is performed. They should learn a lesson from these ahaadeeth that they do more than their status for the invitation of William so that the people of the society do not criticize him later. Do people have no fear of Allah and His Messenger?

Reason Behind Divorced

One thing to consider here is why divorce is so prevalent in couples today, and why both are not living together. Have you ever considered this? I see that crores of rupees are spent on marriages but after a few days it is found out that the couple is having an affair and both of them have separated. Etc. etc. Do you know why such incidents are becoming more and more common nowadays? Because such marriages and invitations in which the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is not observed are devoid of blessings and where there is no blessing, such accidents are bound to happen.

Whichever way you look at it, the hypocrisy and the "declaration" of its social significance is a very ugly thing. Even if you don't get the results, you will get them in the future. If Allah has blessed us with worldly resources, then it should be spent on the needs that are needed in the society. Spend on the religion of Allah and the guardians of the religion, not on such appearances. May Allah protect us all from this hypocrisy. Amen.
