Guests in the Ceremony According to Shari'ah

The Wallima is blessed to the extent that it is prescribed by Islam, which includes the poor, and the walima is according to its status, it is not done with interest, it is not for show and fame, it is free from troubles.
Standard of Guests and Food
According to the Shari'ah, there is no set number of guests, no standard of food, but each person can do it according to his status. However, if he can afford it, there is no problem in inviting more guests and arranging good food. But, the purpose is not to show off or make a name for oneself or to show oneself superior to others.

Showoff Culture in our Society(what people do)

Unfortunately, in our society there are many rituals and extravagances related to walima, low-income people take huge debts for it, and rich people show off well, both of which are against moderation. The participation of a large number of people is considered obligatory in the walimah, for its management, even if a person is burdened with debt for the rest of his life, but for the sake of making a name for himself, mass management is considered necessary. Is contradictory There is no need for the participation of the whole family and all the friends to be considered mandatory, and if it cannot be managed due to lack of status then it is considered a disgrace, it has also become a social evil,

What Islam Says
Akbar It is said about Sahaba that they got married and the government of the two worlds did not even know about it. What was the reason for this? However, who can be a more sincere and loving Prophet than him? Those who sacrificed their homes, family and children at the behest of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). They did not even consider it necessary to report. Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Awf, who is one of the ten evangelists and one of the special companions, got married on his own and the Holy Prophet did not even know about it.

Extra Expenses

Cards are printed for information at the wedding, and thousands of millions of rupees are spent on printing the cards, although the only benefit is to report, which is given in the house, where it was given, they read it and put it aside.

Importance of Walimah
Walimah is such a blessed act that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) prayed for blessings in it. There is a hadith that once people asked Amir al-mu'minin Hazrat Umar Farooq (RA) what is the matter that the pleasure and fragrance that we get in wedding food is not found in ordinary food? Hazrat Umar Farooq (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed for goodness and blessings in the food of Walima. Hazrat Ibrahim Khalilullah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) prayed: O Allaah! Make this meal delicious and blessed. William enjoys eating heavenly food. (Debt Consolidation)
