Islamic Teachings
According to Islamic teachings, a family, however, is formed between a man and a woman by marriage contract and bond and then by the children of the family. But it also includes the husband's parents and the unmarried relatives of the blood relatives to form a large family. Then one of the characteristics of Islamic law is that Islam considers the protection of lineage and race as one of the general goals of Islamic law. That is, Islam has commanded marriage for the survival of the human race and has forbidden adultery to protect it and keep it safe from interbreeding.
The ruling on marriage in the Holy Qur'an is as follows.
" And marry the widows of your people, and those of your male and female slaves who are virtuous. Extensive and All-Knowing. "
It is as if Allah Almighty wants to protect the family and the lineage so much. Azad gave so much importance to the marriage of free slaves and concubines that he commanded their masters and masters through his word! To protect the race, up to four marriages were allowed.
Quran said:
"And if you're afraid that you won't be able to do justice to the orphan girls, then marry the women you like, two, three, four. If there is fear that you will not be able to treat (all women) equally, then the woman or slave (enough) that you own will save you from injustice. ”
He said in one place:
Translated:
" That is to say, take care of family authenticity in choosing a mate. Because relatives and kinsmen share in the attributes of your children. "
He then declared adultery to be haraam in order to protect the family and the society and to prevent sexual misconduct. Allah Almighty says:
Translation:
" And do not approach adultery, for this is indeed the path of obscenity and evil."
Islam is a religion which has introduced marriage for the protection of family and lineage in order to prevent adultery. Any woman other than mahram women can be chosen for marriage. Those mahram women in this verse. Allah Almighty has said:
" Your mothers, and daughters, and sisters, and aunts, and uncles, and nieces, and nephews, and mothers who nursed you, and foster sisters, and mothers-in-law, are forbidden to you. You raise them (they are also forbidden). Yes, if you have not had intercourse with them, then there is no sin on you (in marrying their daughters). Gathering is also (forbidden) except what has already been done. Indeed, God is Forgiving and Merciful. ”
This does not prove that women are an inferior unit or inferior being in the family structure. In the sight of Allah Almighty, men and women have equal rights. The purpose of creating a higher status for men over women is to impose additional responsibilities on them and not to give them additional rights. The family should consider democracy as a small democracy The status of men being able to show the right image was not given to them to become synonymous with a tyrannical, tyrannical dictator who demanded the obedience of the women of his family without any choice. Husbands and wives have a huge role to play in moving the family forward and getting them out of decline. The family system will only move in the right direction when each of the basic and fundamental members and members of the family will take care of their rights and duties. The rights of others begin. In this regard, this verse is mentioned, which makes the foundation of the family strong and stable.
