The concept of family

Family is an Urdu word, which is called "Al-Asrat, Aila" in Arabic and "Family" in Persian.

Commonly used in the sense of family, tribe, community.

"Al-Asrat" is an Arabic word used for the family, the substance of which is "Asr" and if these letters are combined to form a word, it becomes "Asr" which is used in many meanings. However, the "Asrat" family is called. Thus, in the Encyclopedia of Al-Kuwaitah, the definition of Asr is as follows:

The human being: the tenth and the last of the human beings, derived from the human, he is the power, the same with this, because he is pious, and the female: the male and his family

The human family is called by its offspring and close relatives by the father. And Asr is derived from "Asr" and is called Asrqut. Feels strong and man arranges the livelihood of his family members.

The purpose of the above statement is that al-Asr is used in different meanings depending on its substance and its origin. Such as family, prisoner, hiding something, strength and maturity, order and organization etc. Of all the above mentioned meanings we mean "family" for which the word "al-asrat" is used.

The importance of family

The family is the most important and basic element of the society which comes into being from the marital relationship between a man and a woman. It is the basic unit of society and from it societies come into being. The stronger the family unit, the stronger and more stable the society and the state. The importance of family can be gauged from this. That the survival and protection of the family is one of the main objectives of Shariah. An entire branch of Islamic teaching, known as manaqat or the family system of Islam, has been created for this purpose. More than a third of the commandments in the Qur'an are to regulate the family system. The family is the largest social organization that pays important benefits at the same time. It has the status of a basic group because the members of the family live together and find satisfaction in all their needs and live a life of security and tranquility.

Allah Almighty addressed the people and said:

“Oh People! Fear the One who created you from a single soul and made its mate from the same soul, and from these two spread many men and women in the world. ”

After the creation of Adam and Eve, reproduction was made the source of the human race. The family system of human beings created after the creation of the first human being is not under the influence of any force or terror but is made attractive by combining feelings of love and peace of heart so that after the birth of husband and wife, his upbringing is natural. Do it with love In this way, until the Day of Judgment, the human race will continue to prosper with great care and the next generation will take the place of the first and the purpose of life will be promoted.
